Hashim Al-Harazi
Hashim is a dedicated and accomplished individual, who takes pride in his work regardless of the task. Graduating from Mohawk College in 2011, with honours, he quickly took his place in the industry, demonstrating the wealth of knowledge and expertise he absorbed. Hashim started his career working in a laboratory where he created ultrasonic calibration coupons with an EDM machine that would be utilized in piping inspections. In 2012 Hashim was asked to join Trenergy Inc., where he would play a key role in the radiography department. Over the last several years, Hashim has provided exceptional service to our clients, providing thorough, on time inspections, relating to both in-house and outside customers. Hashim continues to strive to exceed expectations by continuing to enhance his skills and education, speaking to his devotion as an employee in the NDE department of Trenergy Inc.
Daniela Livsey
NDE Supervisor and Radiation Safety Officer Alternate for Trenergy Inc. Daniela graduated from Durham College in 2009 where she took Mechanical Engineering – Non-Destructive Testing. After graduation, Daniela started her career in the nuclear industry and then made her way to the mining industry, developing skills in both areas. In February 2014 she started at Trenergy Inc. as an NDE Technician, where she utilizes her past and present experience and knowledge. Throughout her career, Daniela has maintained involvement in continuing education, participating in formal training courses through recognized training organizations, broadening her skillset, knowledge and experience on an ongoing basis. Daniela brings to Trenergy various levels of certification and familiarity of all applicable codes, standards and other documents that control NDT methods being utilized.
Amir Ghabraei
Amir Ghabraei Joined Trenergy in 2014 as welding manager and now serves as Welding and NDE Operations Manager. Amir brings an exceptional degree of technical expertise to the role, and is an extremely valuable asset to the Trenergy team. He leads his team effectively, works collaboratively with the Trenergy staff in sales and estimating, project management, manufacturing, and quality, to ensure that projects meet the most stringent customer specifications. His extensive credentials include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario
- International welding engineering ( IWE) Diploma from International Institute of Welding (IIW)
- European welding engineering (EWE) Diploma from European Welding Federation (EWF)
- CWB Welding Engineer per CSA W59.1, CSA W59.2 and CSA 186
- CWB Level III inspector
- CSWIP LEVEL III inspector
- AWS Certified welding Inspector
- ASNT Level III
- CWB Welding Supervisor
In addition to Amir’s commitments to Trenergy, he is a part time welding and NDE professor at both Niagara College and Sheridan College, and is the CWB Association Chairman in the Hamilton and Niagara region. Furthering his commitment to welding and standardization, Amir volunteers as a member of ISO Technical Committee 44 – Welding and Allied processes.
David Boyle
David Boyle graduated from the Non Destructive Testing program at the N.A.I.T Institute in Edmonton Alberta in 1974, and began working for Foster Wheeler shortly thereafter. While working for Foster Wheeler, he received various Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) certificates, and gained many years of valuable work experience, while completing inspections on an array of projects for various industries. He participated in projects across North America, and overseas, including France and Japan. In addition to working for Foster Wheeler and Trenergy, David’s experiences also include teaching evening courses in magnetic particle and liquid penetrant inspection at Mohawk College. Projects of local significance include being solely responsible for the inspection of all of the vertical lift bridges on the Welland Canal for the past 40 years. Dave is still as spry as ever, and eager to continue to share his 40+ years of experience with Trenergy and others in the industry.
Jawad Malik
Jawad Malik graduated from Mohawk College in 2018 from the Quality Engineering – Non- Destructive Testing (NDT) program. After graduation, Jawad began his career in the NDT industry by working under direct supervision of highly skilled and experienced Radiography Inspectors. Upon successfully acquiring his CEDO certificate, Jawad became a key member in the NDT department at Trenergy Inc. Jawad actively continues to improve on his industry knowledge and skillset in order to become a better NDT inspector using various testing methods. Jawad successfully completed his source retrieval course through a recognized training body, which allows him to further understand the importance of safety when performing industrial radiography. Jawad plans on moving forward in the NDT industry by acquiring his certifications in various methods in order to broaden his experience and knowledge.
